WHAT NEXT ANNA ?

So Gandhi returns ! India witnesses a history ! People power proves its might once again ! As hindustan celebrates the festival of democracy today , i try to look beyond Anna's superjob ! Lets assume the jan lokpal bill comes into existence what then do we expect nation to experience thereafter ? do we see the corruption levels completely dwindling and 'the system' becoming people friendly ? Do i see corruption, the very essence of annas struggle completely getting eradicated from the country ?

i guess such an expectation would be myopic ! anna has launched a perfect environment for the reforms beyond doubt . However the buck doesn't stop here.picture the next general elections ! lets assume the UPA government pays the price and a new political party takes over . what then do we expect ? a 'ramrajya' ? ARE they any different ?

iam afraid no ! India has almost reached the point of bankruptcy when it comes to clean , transparent and dependable political party or politicians. we still have some great leaders as politicians without a doubt. Ironically they're scattered amongst different political parties.

so what am i trying to say ? the third force which India was always dreaming of has perhaps emerged almost miraculously !

yes iam talking of team Anna ! Impartial, non vested , sincere aims...

If anna hazare and co really want india to go through a complete democratic metamorphosis, time has come they need to look beyond being mere activists !

Team anna , India's now gaping at you with impossible hopes ! indians have once again started dreaming of a real freedom .

what therefore you must do if you really want to serve the country right, is to start thinking to take the cudgels of power in your hands. take the power and rule ! in you we see hope and capability to drive the india wagon into the land where the real freedom lies . and to rule, democracy demands that you win the people mandate. This tIme through the age old custom of ruling ' the elections'.

heres what you need to do team anna :

1)Form a political party instead of being a watch dog and take control systems of the country in your hands.

2) form a national party and penetrate your roots in all the 31 states of the country

3) take the next general elections head on

4) come in power with absolute guaranteed majority

5) bring out changes without depending on other political parties.

6) make radical constitutional amendments permanent

7) if possible upgrade the entire constitution of India with respect to current times.

8) ABOLISH THE DRACONIAN SYSTEM OF RESERVATIONS ( you dont care anyways for the vote banks we know)

9) upgrade and shuffle the limping judicial process

10) improvise the judiciary

11) let there be a reservation policy however, it should be reserved for economically backward class not by the caste !

12) completely overhaul electoral process and implement electoral reforms immediately.

13) ABOLISH IAS AND IPS : change the entire governance and bureaucrats and enforcement system , the hierarchies and the selection mode ! (you dont expect an IAS with a background of political history to head as a chief of an engineering public sector org ! ). Design upgraded public service selection process that replace these archaic posts.

14) change the eligibility criteria of taking politics as a career ! let there be a national institute of political administration and let only the 5000 pass outs be eligible to enter the electoral turf ! let political parties sponsor meritorial bachelors for this all india post graduate institute . The resultant governance would one of the best in the world .

15 ) upgrade the education policy. make it more pragmatic.

16) let there be a law of maximum two children in a family . let there be strong laws against violaters (strongly recommended)

17 ) bring all the past currupt netas and business men to books. award them with a situation that sends shivers to the next generation.

18) bring Rapid justice programs.

19) make provisions for instant justice / punishment for anti nationals and terrorists !

20 ) de empower the bureaucracy, dissolve the raj ' that still prevails !

ANNA if you really want to see country the way you perceive, iam afraid there's only one way to go about it . take the power head on.. If democracy demands winning electoral mandate , so be it ! politics is not a dirty word ! its the rot that we need to weed out ! you perhaps are a silver lining in the sky for India

jai Hind !

WHY TRUST IS SO IMPORTANT IN BUSINESS AND CAREER

Organizations characterized by a high degree of trust are often the most successful. Trust is a big deal in workplaces. If I only had a dime for every time someone said, “I don’t trust so and so” in my coaching work! The word trust means many different things, depending on whom you ask. In my management training, I ask participants to write down 10 words that equate to what trust means to them. I typically get more than 100 different responses. Answers range from integrity, confidence, moral values and predictability to being able to count on someone. When it comes to high-performing teams, I equate trust to someone’s willingness to be open, exposed and “vulnerable.” No matter the definition, one thing everyone agrees on — trust must be earned and it’s much harder to earn than it is to lose. Developing and maintaining trust is critical to success in your career, workplace teams, leadership and business. Trust is the foundation for all things good in workplaces. I ...

KEEP IT SIMPLE SWEATHERT

Avoid micro-management at all costs "I recently flipped through the declassified 'Simple Sabotage Field Manual', published in 1944 by the US Office of Strategic Services, the predecessor to the CIA. It lists numerous strategies that saboteurs in business environments can use to derail progress. Surprisingly, many of those tactics are being used in offices around the world today! "For instance, the manual instructs saboteurs who have infiltrated organisations to "insist on doing everything through channels. Never permit short-cuts to be taken in order to expedite decisions". "It also advocates for being extra cautious and advises that every decision be referred to committees. Managers are advised to "Multiply the procedures and clearances involved in issuing instructions... See that three people have to approve everything where one would do." These instructions might sound outdated, but they’re timeless. 2. Make your ideas fit on the back ...

Why We Need to Watch Leslee Udwin's Documentary India's Daughter

An illogical, misguided outrage has gripped India. Indignant people are railing against a rapist given primetime TV slots, so the country can know his point of view. How is it -- angry people are demanding -- that channels be so TRP hungry, they're willing to allow this disturbed man's innermost thoughts be broadcast on TV? What do they hope to get from this, other than insult the memory of the one who has been immortalised (against her wishes) as India's Braveheart? #nirbhayainsulted they hashtagged, when we gave her rapist so much publicity. So, you are outraged that a documentary on rapists has been made, and is being broadcast. You, and your sensibilities, count themselves among luminaries in the feminist movement, the government, other activists and lawyers. You think the FIR filed by the police saying this film "contains offensive content which should not be broadcast in the interest of maintaining public order," is absolutely correct, and this kind of free...
